Abbreviation

I live in the Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco. I moved here to be with my partner in May of 2011. I love the neighborhood. It's quiet, except for the trash/ recycling/ composting trucks that seem to come every morning at 4 am. It's hard to complain about even that, though, since they are so loud because it's nice and cool every night here so we leave our bedroom windows open. Not to mention, there are composting trucks. I love San Francisco.

My partner and I eat at home most nights, but we are also having fun exploring the city, especially our neighborhood. I look forward to sharing what we find here.

We looked at several apartments and were lucky to find this one, a block from Golden Gate Park, and a few blocks from the Presidio. Coming from Atlanta, I feel much more at home here amidst the trees and wide streets.

We gave up our cars when we moved out West, but we don't really miss them. I'd love to be able to go visit the woods outside the city, though. Being among trees has always been a great comfort to me, and living in Asheville during college was enough to spoil me for a lifetime I think.
